Angle Engineering employs registered civil engineers, geologists, and certified field and laboratory technicians to perform material testing throughout Nevada.  Over the past several years, we have developed extensive experience with construction practices in this area.  We have provided materials testing services for a variety of private and public agencies.  We have provided testing services on projects with collapsible silts, and clays, on chemically and physically expansive soils, cemented materials (caliche), soft soils, hillsides, and challenging soils and groundwater conditions.  Testing has been performed to identify suitable material, such as Type II aggregate, select and granular backfill.  Angle Engineering conducts a wide range of laboratory and field-testing on soils in accordance with ASTM and AASHTO standards and specifications.  ANGLE Engineering’s laboratory is equipped to handle a large variety of testing and is AASHTO accredited in soils, aggregate, concrete, and asphalt.  Materials testing has been performed for roadway construction, underground utility projects, drainage channel improvements, water tanks, street pavement evaluation, runway rehabilitation, embankments, bridges, museums, master planned communities, schools, parks, retaining walls, foundations, etc. addressing adverse conditions.
